Paramedic: Girl wounded in area school shooting bravest ‘I’ve ever seen’

The teenager seriously injured in a shooting in the cafeteria of a Central Texas High School is “the bravest girl I’ve ever seen,” the first paramedic to reach her said Tuesday.

A shooting Tuesday at a rural high school left two students dead and 17 others injured, 14 from gunshot wounds.

An arrest warrant has been issued in the mysterious death of an AT&T lineman who was found with his clothes on fire and at least 20 stab wounds, police said Tuesday.

Officials have recovered the remains of five workers missing since an explosion at a gas drilling rig.
