Three discovered dead in Central Texas apartment

Investigators responding to reports that someone failed to show up for work Wednesday discovered three people dead in a Central Texas apartment.

Crews worked through the night to restore natural gas service to homes and businesses in a small Central Texas town where the system was shut down after an electrical outage, but about 200 homes are still without service.

Police Wednesday identified the victim of an early-morning shooting who died at a local hospital after he was found lying in the doorway of his home.

A local Walmart was evacuated Wednesday morning because of smoke in the store.
