Lorena Rolls In Opener

WACO (August 26, 2010)--The Lorena football team beat West 41-13 Thursday night at Waco ISD Stadium.

The Leopards started slow, and the game was tied at 13 at one point. But that is when Lorena got it into gear, scoring 28 unanswered points.

The game was the season opener for both teams.

Also locally Thursday night, Riesel beat Snook 46-0, and Jonesboro beat Zephyr 66-20.

the season still young anything can happen at any point and time you can stat off 0-5 but end up in the state title and win it. so lets keep up the good work and good luck and good luck to all the area football teams.
