Belton Wide Receiver "Playing For A Cure"

(October 20, 2011) -- Levi Jordan fights for every ball and every yard on the field. But those battles are nothing compared to the one his grandmother, Wilma Hogan, is fighting.

Hogan has been diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time in her life. Levi is showing his support for his grandma by calling on local businesses to match a donation, from 25 cents to a dollar, for every 10 yards from punt returns and receiving he racks up, in the Homecoming game against Ellison.

"I put those glove on, I just think about her," says Jordan. "And I'm going to go out there and fight for my team just like she's fighting against the cancer that's trying to kill her."

Kickoff between Ellison and Belton is at 7:30 pm.
