History was made today at my hometown with the Yoemen winning the state baseball championship today, the school's first ever appearance and the school's first state championship. I was there with my grandson and he even enjoyed yelling go Yoe. What a year for the Yoemen, not just baseball, but football state finalist, basketball regional finalist, 3rd at the state track meet, and now statechampions in baseball. The girls too had a terrific year and we the Yoemen are all proud of them all.
