Killeen (November 15, 2011) -- Ellison senior forward Alayshia Hunter inked a National Letter of Intent with the University of Louisiana at Monroe on Monday.

Last year's District 12-5A co-MVP, Hunter was a key contributor to the 30-win Lady Eagles, averaging a team-high 10.8 points, 9.2 rebounds and two blocks per game last year. The 6-foot-2 post player shot over 55 percent during Ellison's run to the 5A regional semifinals.
