(March 6, 2013) -- Brian Emerson was officially introduced as the new head football coach and athletic director at Lampasas on Wednesday.
Emerson comes over from 4A Medina Valley where he spent the last 11 seasons as head coach of the Panthers. Prior to that, Emerson coached at Blanco, where he won a 2A state title in 2001.
In 23 years, Emerson has compiled a 153-101 record.
Emerson replaces Jimmy Randolph, who resigned on February 1, after one season, due to family reasons. Randolph replaced Joey McQueen who resigned in 2011.
