WACO (January 4, 2014) Shoemaker's Channon Hall and Robinson's Tommy Allison will coach the red and blue teams respectively in the 6th annual FCA Victory Bowl.
Both Hall and Allison are coming off bi-district playoff appearances.
"It's an honor. It's a good chance to meet good people. To coach some good kids, out of your element, a little bit, and learn," said Hall. "I'm a learner and this football game, good people, learn some football for a good cause, I'm all for it."
"It's quite an honor to be associated with something like the FCA," said Allison. "And at the end of the day, as coaches, it's the most important thing we do, to have an influence on kids lives and to be part of this game, it's a big honor."
The game is scheduled for Saturday, June 14. Kickoff is set for 6:30 PM at Waco ISD Stadium.
2014 will also mark the inaugural volleyball game which will be held the same day as the football game. Belton's Stacy Meyers will coach the red team and Lorena's Kari Sowders will coach the blue team.
