Austin (January 13, 2012) -- Midway alumni, former swim captain, and 2-time Texas 4A gold medalist Emily Neubert qualified for her Olympic Trial cut tonight in the University of Texas' Grand Prix Swim Meet.

She swam a 1:01.90 in the 100 meter butterfly (long course), under the 1:01.99 cut off. Many Olympians swam attended the meet, including Ryan Lochte, Michael Phelps and Cullen Jones. In fact, Emily's competitors in the fly included Dana Vollmer, Natalie Coughlin and Katie Hoff.

Emily is a freshman at Texas A&M.
