Hillsboro (June 7, 2011) -- The Lady Rebel basketball team signed a commitment for the 2011-12 season in 6'2 forward Kayla Jackson from Hillsboro. Jackson averaged 16 points and 11 rebounds throughout her high school career.

The recent Hillsboro High School graduate is capable of playing the power forward or center position according to Hill College Head Coach Aaron Kallhoff.

"Kayla brings size, athleticism and energy to our program," added Kallhoff.

The Jackson signing gives Kallhoff 11 players already committed to the 2011-12 season, including five returning from the 2010-11 season.
