Are you going to get second place rings again?

To Peter; Did you go to a state title game? Was your baseball team District champs?? Did you even play baseball??? Or are you just one of those haters who hates on everything good that happens to another schoool?? Why would you even comment on this if you have nothing nice to say? Not very many kids get the opportunity to compete in the state tournament, but we did and we did our best. Coach Kent is a great guy and its just an example of what great of a leader he is. All of the boys on the baseball team HAVE been raised correctly and I'm proud to say I'm a Robinson Rocket. Coach Kent IS a great Coach and he coached them as well as they could be coached. Kennedale is a good, hard to beat team.. It just wasn't our day. Nothing wrong with 2nd place in the state.

To: Rocket-Mom Yes you got beat, that is what being the losing team means....You can call it a moral victory, like Baylor does in football/baseball...if it makes you feel any better. The helping of the accident does not have anything to do about being a coach, it has to do with being a decent human being. If these boys at this age do NOT know about life lessons when it comes to helping out, then they were not raised correctly. I think all of these boys would help out someone in need, they DON'T need to be shown by their coach that you help people in need, they should have been taught that at home....

Wow...I had not heard the story about the accident!!!! The Rocket team is an amazing group of young men...led by an amazing Coach who helped these boys go farther than any other baseball team in program history!!! The Rockets will always be #1 in our hearts...

I thought they had pitching depth? If your #2 pitcher is struggling (becasue pitchers have those games)and you can't pull him out because he is all you have then you DON'T have pitching depth. I felt bad for the Robinson pitcher, he was struggling and was not getting any help from his infield or coach. I thought it odd that when the coach finally went out there to try & calm him down the coach was basically directing his talk to the SS.

aparently have no kent is the best coach in the state of texas, he taught these boys a life skill yesterday, these boys witnessed a motorcycle accident infront of them where they seen this lady hit the pavement of I35. Coach Kent ran to her aid and stayed with her until help arrived as well as a player on the bus call 911, This only proves that saving a lady life is far more valuable then a state title and im guessing by your comments lately you must not be a athlete and im sure YOU HAVE NEVER PLAYED IN A STATE TITLE GAME, These boys have and they will be able to tell the story unlike others reguardless of the outcome, We did not get beat, we were just the losing team yesterday!!! These boys gave it there all and I AM PROUD TO BE A PARENT OF ONE OF THESE PLAYERS!!! GREAT JOB COACH KENT!!!
