After a scoreless second inning, Midway exploded for five runs in the top of the third, extending their lead to 7-2. Midway would tack on runs in the fourth and sixth inning.

I saw the game. It was a game of pretty much defense and Midway held solid except for maybe two blunders. The Midway pitcher was not in anyway phased by being in the circle. She did a great job and let her defense help her out but also jammed a lot of batters. The only thing I saw was from the lead off Midway batter #4 giving the umpire attitude because she did not like a pitch. I saw that twice. When my neighbor played select softball that attitude got you benched pretty quick...Other than that the team was pretty level headed. I have to hit mute when watching softball the commentators and the chants annoy me.
