Rockets Off To State

(June 2, 2011) -- The Robinson Rockets are flying off to the state tournament. Robinson heads to statee after defeating La Grange 3-0 in a one-game playoff in the Region III-3A finals.

The Rockets scored all three of their runs in the 3rd inning. Pitcher Chad Hollingsworth pitches a complete game shutout.

Robinson advances to next week's state tournament. Time and opponent will be announced at a later date.

Glad to see the other coach gone. The one before moved off and his girfriend moved with him Reeves/ So glad of that.

Too bad I haven't seen more of the Robinson High baseball playoff results posted here - but thanks for posting their win tonight. Rockets going to State Finals in Austin on Wednesday - proud of you boys!
