All-American WR Broyles Holds Pro Day After Injury

NORMAN, Okla. (April 12, 2012) -- Less than five months after having surgery on a torn knee ligament, All-American receiver Ryan Broyles made his case for the NFL draft Thursday by running the 40-yard dash and a handful of routes for pro scouts.

Broyles was clocked in 4.57 seconds and 4.59 seconds on a pair of 40-yard runs and caught six passes from former Oklahoma quarterback Joey Halzle.

Broyles has caught the most passes in NCAA history. He says he hopes he showed the scouts that he has been working hard and that he's healthy enough to be ready for minicamp for whatever team may draft him in two weeks.

Broyles tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in November, shortly after breaking the NCAA record for career receptions.
