Baylor Hosting K-State On ESPN For Night Contest

WACO (November 5, 2012) -- Baylor’s Nov. 17 football game at home against Kansas State has been set to kick off at 7 p.m. CT and will be televised live nationally on ESPN, the Big 12 Conference announced Monday.

The Kansas State game will be the 21st time in the last 22 games that Baylor has played on national television. The Bears also played on ESPN against Louisiana-Monroe on Sept. 21, and Baylor is scheduled to face Oklahoma in Norman at 2:30 p.m. Saturday on FSN.

Baylor (4-4, 1-4 Big 12) is coming off a 41-14 Homecoming win over Kansas on Saturday. The Bears’ offense leads the nation in passing with 392.1 yards per games and total offense at 581.5 yards per game. Senior quarterback Nick Florence leads the nation individually in total offense, averaging 412.3 yards per game, while senior wide receiver Terrance Williams leads the nation in receiving yards with 167.5 yards per game.

The Bears will face No. 12 Oklahoma (6-2, 4-1 Big 12) before returning home to host No. 2 Kansas State (9-0, 6-0 Big 12). K-State puts its undefeated record on the line at TCU on Saturday in its final game before heading to Waco to face the Bears at Floyd Casey Stadium.
