WACO (March 28, 2012) -- The Baylor University community is invited to a sendoff rally, Thursday, March 29, for the Baylor women's basketball team as the Lady Bears depart for the Women's Final Four in Denver, Colo. The send-off rally will take place at 4:30 p.m. CT in front of the Lt. Jack Whetsel Jr. Practice Facility at the Ferrell Center.
All students, faculty, staff and fans are encouraged to join together to cheer on the Lady Bears before they depart for Denver, and hear from head coach Kim Mulkey and select players.
Baylor faces Stanford in the National Semifinal on Sunday. Tip set for 8:00 pm following UConn and Notre Dame at 5:30 pm.
