Baylor's Sampson, Wade, Stonum Sign With NFL Teams

WACO (April 27, 2013) -- Terrance Williams was the only Baylor player selected in the 2013 NFL Draft, but a trio of his teammates inked NFL contracts shortly after the draft wrapped up.

Bears wide receivers Lanear Sampson and Darryl Stonum and offensive lineman Ivory Wade both went undrafted, but were picked up by NFL teams, according to each player's twitter account.

Sampson was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Indianapolis Colts. He caught 52 passes for 646 yards and six touchdowns this season and was an All-Big 12 honorable mention.

Wade was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Wade made 43 starts on the Baylor offensive line.

Stonum will join the Kansas City Chiefs following his only season at Baylor. Stonum finished the 2012-13 season with three catches for 51 yards and a touchdown. He spent the first three seasons of his college career at Michigan.
