(July 18, 2012) -- John Osborn has resigned as the boys head basketball coach at Belton. Osborn put in his resignation as head coach of the Tigers on Tuesday.
Osborn will be move on to take an assistant coach job at L.D. Bell in Hurst. The Tigers finished in last place in District 12-5A this past season.
Athletic Director Rodney Southern told 254Sports Wednesday evening the school will move quickly to fill the position vacated by Osborn.
