(November 13, 2013) Baylor head coach Art Briles will be coaching in Waco a bit longer.
The Baylor Board of Regents approved a contract extension on Wednesday night.
A Baylor source told 254Sports the deal will be a 10-year extension, keeping him through 2023.
Media reports indicate the deal is worth more than $4 million a year.
It's the second contract extension Briles has received in the last year. He agreed to a new deal last December.
Briles has guided the Bears to a 8-0 record for the first time in school history, as well as a No. 5 ranking in the BCS standings.
Briles is in his sixth season at Baylor, where he has a 41-30 record.
