FCA Victory Bowl Coaches Announced

WACO (January 5, 2012) - Gatesville's Kyle Cooper and La Vega's Willie Williams will coach the red and blue teams respectively in the 5th annual FCA Victory Bowl.

Cooper and Williams are no strangers to one another. They've coached against each other in the same district in the past, and played this past season in a non-district game when Gatesville was realigned to a different district.

Both are excited to be named head coaches in the victory bowl.

"I believe in what FCA stands for. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is a great organization so just to be able to be a part of it and be able to minister to kids in this community through it is a great honor," said Cooper.

"It's a great honor to be thought of as far as representing the FCA in this particular type of activity and it's a lot of fun. It's a great honor just to be able to do this," said Williams.

The game is scheduled for Saturday, June 15. Kickoff is set for 6:30 PM.
