Five Baylor MBB Games Added To National TV Slate

WACO (September 28, 2012) -- Five non-conference games have been added to the Baylor men’s basketball national TV schedule, bringing the Bears’ total to 25 nationally televised games during the 2012-13 regular season.

Baylor’s game at Kentucky on Dec. 1 will tip off at 11:30 a.m. CT and air nationally on CBS. The game will be the second time in program history Baylor has played a regular-season game on CBS. The Bears defeated Texas 76-71 on Jan. 28 last season in the program’s first regular-season CBS game, and BU is 5-3 all-time on the network.

Four games were added on ESPN networks, which brings the total to 21 games televised on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPN3. Baylor’s home game against College of Charleston on Nov. 24 will be shown on ESPN3, which can be watched through the WatchESPN platform.

Baylor home games against Northwestern (Dec. 4) and BYU (Dec. 21), and the Bears’ game at Gonzaga on Dec. 28, will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
