Former Baylor Player Signed To Colts Practice Squad

INDIANAPOLIS (September 18, 2012) -- Indianapolis has signed nose tackle Nicolas Jean-Baptiste and offensive tackle Tony Hills to the practice squad and released defensive tackle Chigbo Anunoby and offensive tackle Darrion Weems from the practice squad.

Baltimore signed the 6-foot-1, 337-pound Jean-Baptiste as an undrafted free agent out of Baylor in May. He was waived Aug. 31.

Jean-Baptiste played in all 13 games for the 10-3 Bears last season, earning second-team All-Big 12 honors.

Hills was Pittsburgh's fourth-round draft pick in 2008 but played in only five regular-season games before being released in the final cut down in 2011. Five days later, he signed with Denver, but he was cut Aug. 31.

Anunoby signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent April 30 and was cut Aug. 31, then was re-signed to Indy's practice squad. Weems joined Indy's practice squad Sept. 3.
