CINCINNATI (August 24, 2013) -- Brandon Joiner's road back to the NFL will have to wait a little longer.
The former Shoemaker standout and Bengals defensive end will miss the entire NFL season after tearing his ACL Thursday in practice.
Joiner was carted off the field during practice, but details of the injury were not known until Saturday evening.
Joiner was trying to make the Bengals roster after being sentenced to three years in prison for aggravated robbery while at Texas A&M in 2007.
Joiner will spend the rest of the season on Cincinnati's injured reserve list.
