WACO (March 27, 2013) -- Call it a pair of tweet dunks for Brittney Griner.
Griner became the first woman with three dunks in a game in Baylor's 85-47 victory over Florida State in the NCAA tournament Tuesday night. She had one before halftime, when the 6-foot-8 star apparently tweeted that she wanted two more in her last home game for the Lady Bears.
"Need two more dunks on home court for the best crowd ever!" read a tweet posted from Griner's account, (at)Brittney4Griner. The timeline would match when Baylor was at halftime.
Griner then had two more dunks in a 79-second span soon before she came out of the game for good.
She finished with 33 points and a career-high 22 rebounds in the Lady Bears' 85-47 victory over Florida State on Tuesday night.
In another post Wednesday morning, Griner wrote she was sleepy and "in class like zombie!!!" and attached a photo to prove it.
The defending national champion Lady Bears (34-1) are having fun. They're in the NCAA tournament round of 16 for the fourth year in a row, four wins away from defending their title.
Baylor plays Louisville (26-8) on Sunday night in Oklahoma City.
In describing how her team is playing right now, coach Kim Mulkey said: "It's scary good. And it's not just Brittney."
