Highlanders in 4th in Texas JUCO Championship Preview

(February 18, 2013) -- The McLennan Highlanders shot 325 to sit in fourth place after day one of the Texas JUCO Championship Preview at the Split Rail Golf Club in Aledo.

Odessa is in first place with 314, followed by Western Texas in second with 318 and New Mexico in third with 322.

MCC scores: Andrew Johnson, 83; Ryan Beatty, 81; Kyle Southard, 81; Chris Low, 83; Dillon Vaughn, 80; and Andrew Hans, 82.

Other team scores: Midland, tied for fourth, 328; Ranger, tied for fourth, 328; Paris, sixth, 329; Tyler, seventh, 332; and New Mexico Military, eighth, 334.
