Highlasses Squeak by Jacksonville

The McLennan Highlassies moved to 4-4 on the season as they squeaked by the Jacksonville Lady Jaguars 65-64 Saturday in the Jacksonville Classic.

Sophomore Sondra Flippin led the Highlassies with 19 points and Cha'Zaye Wright scored 15. Traonna Shedrick and Haylea Jackson added 14 and 10, respectively.

MCC returns to action on Tuesday, traveling to face Blinn at 5:30 p.m. in Brenham.
