(March 7, 2013) -- The McLennan Highlassies and Ranger Lady Rangers split Wednesday's conference doubleheader at Bosque River Ballpark.
Ranger took game one 2-1 with Laura Wilson taking the loss in the circle. Taylor Davis, Natali Duron, Courtney Mica and Sevanah Campos-Reyes all recorded doubles.
MCC bounced back to run-rule the Rangers 8-0 in five innings of the nightcap with Veronica Garcia picking up the win. Davis led the Highlassies at the plate, going 2-3 with a double, triple and two RBIs. Kady Crow was 2-3 with a double, a home run and two RBIs. Lena Capps also hit a home run.
The Highlassies return to action on Saturday, hosting Hill for a 1 p.m.
