The McLennan Highlassies softball team split a pair of games Friday at the Temple Tournament.
Laura Wilson picked up the 7-2 win over Coastal Bend this morning. Courtney Mica and Sevanah Campos-Reyes both hit doubles and home runs. Kady Crow also hit a home run.
The Highlassies fell to Alvin 2-1 in the final game of the day with Veronica Garcia taking the loss. Mica was 2-3 at the plate and Abby White was 2-2.
MCC wraps up the tournament Saturday, facing Blinn at 11:30 a.m. and Crowder at 4:30 p.m.
