Killeen Native Wins NCAA Outdoor Triple Jump Championship

(June 8, 2012) -- Killeen native and University of Florida junior Omar Craddock wins the NCAA Outdoor triple jump championship Friday in Des Moines, Iowa. Craddock jumped a personal best 55 feet, 6 and 1/4 inches.

Craddock ranks No. 1in the triple jump by Track and Field News magazine. He won the 2012 SEC Indoor triple jump title, the 2012 NCAA Indoor title, the 2012 SEC Outdoor title, the 2012 NCAA East Regional triple jump.

Craddock attended Richard Milburn Academy High School in Killeen.
