NEW YORK (December 18, 2012)--Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III ranks second in the NFL in passer rating, he’s right at the top of conversation about rookie of the year, and now he’s setting a record off the field.
His No. 10 Redskins shirt is the top seller on NFLShop.com this season, the website says.
The top six spots belong to quarterbacks.
Peyton Manning of the Broncos is No. 2, followed by Aaron Rodgers of the Packers, Eli Manning of the Giants, Tom Brady of the Patriots and Andrew Luck of the Colts.
According to ESPN.com, an NFL spokesperson says Griffin's jersey already has sold more than any other player's has in a single season since the league began tracking sales on NFLShop.com six years ago.
