Shipley Stops at Ronald McDonald House in Temple

TEMPLE (January 31, 2013) -- Former Texas Longhorn and current Jacksonville Jaguar wide receiver Jordan Shipley was at the Ronald McDonald House in Temple Thursday to promote an upcoming concert featuring him and his wife, Sunny.

The Shipleys will perform at the Hog Creek Icehouse in Waco on Valentine's Day with proceeds benefitting the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Shipley just finished his third year in the NFL. He played the final six games of the 2012 regular season with the Jaguars after being signed to the team in November.

Shipley is an exclusive rights free agent, meaning the Jaguars have until March 14 to re-sign him or he becomes an unrestricted free agent.

This is the first offseason of Shipley's NFL career in which he has not been battling injuries. He says being able to focus more on training will allow him to improve his production.
