State 7-On-7 Tournament: Day 2

(July 20, 2012) -- Waco High made its first ever appearance at the State 7-on-7 Tournament in College Station. After pool play, the Lions failed to advance to the Division I championship bracket.

Joining Waco HIgh in Saturday's consolation bracket, Temple and Belton. The Tigers went 2-1 in pool play, but lost out on a tiebreaker to Katy, who won the head-to-head in the first game.

Here are the Division I pool play results from Friday:

Waco High: Plano West 39-26 (L), Tyler Lee 25-12 (L), Port Arthur Memorial 34-15 (L)

Temple: Houston Lamar 40-13 (L), Duncanville 27-20 (L), Del Rio 36-0 (W)

Belton: Katy 21-19 (L), Abilene 35-21 (L), Arlington 27-26 (W)
