(May 16, 2012) -- Texas Tech freshman guard Kevin Wagner has decided to leave Lubbock and transfer to MCC.
Wagner started six games as a freshman for the Red Raiders, averaging 2.9 points a game during Big 12 play.
He suffered a season ending knee injury on February 4 against Texas.
Wagner is the sixth player to transfer out under head coach Billy Gillespie, who enters his second season at Texas Tech.
