COLLEGE STATION (June 29, 2012)--One of Texas A&M’s quarterbacks was arrested early Friday morning.
Freshman Johnathon Manziel,19, was arrested in the Northgate area of College Station after an officer on bicycle patrol saw a fight.
In a police report released Friday police said a group of people had surrounded two men who were fighting.
One of them was Manziel, police said.
Officers asked Manziel for his driver’s license.
He gave them one that said he was 21, but when police questioned his date of birth, Manziel gave them conflicting dates.
Manziel was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, failure to identify and having a fake license.
He was booked into the Brazos County Jail where his bond was set at $6,500
