WACO (March 18, 2013) -- Two McLennan Community College basketball players were named to the All-Region V teams released Monday.
Freshman D.J. Weathers represented the Highlanders on the men’s team. He was previously named the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year and was a first-team all-conference selection.
Sophomore Cha’Zaye Wright represented the Highlassies on the women’s team. She was previously named the North Texas Junior College Athletic Newcomer of the Year and a first-team all-conference selection.
