Two Central Texas Bowlers Help Capture League Title

(March 5, 2012) -- LeJewila Lewis of Waco High and Alexia Holmes of Killeen High helped the Prairie View A&M bowling team capture the SWAC championship over the weekend.

Lewis was named to the all-tournament team.

Prairie View A&M University won its first Southwestern Athletic Conference bowling title, beating Alabama A&M University twice on Championship Sunday afternoon at the International Training and Research Center.

The Panthers forced a deciding match by beating Alabama A&M 4-2, then clinched the title with another 4-2 win over the Bulldogs.
