BELTON (March 2, 2013) -- The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s basketball team will face American Southwest Conference rival Concordia Texas in the Second Round of the NCAA Division III National Championships next Saturday. The Cru will welcome the Tornados to the Mayborn Campus Center for a 7:00 PM tip-off on Saturday, March 9th. UMHB had a first round bye in the tournament and Concordia advanced with an 87-83 victory over Trinity University in the opening round.
Saturday’s game will be the fourth meeting of the season between the two teams. UMHB won both regular season meetings before Concordia edged the Cru 80-76 in the ASC Tournament Championship Game. The winner of Saturday’s game will advance to the Sectional Round on March 16th.
Tickets for Saturday’s game will be $6 for adults and $3 for students and seniors. Children aged two and under will be admitted free. There will be no presale of tickets, but the ticket windows at the Mayborn Center will open at 5:00 PM on Saturday.
