BELTON (March 19, 2013) -- The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women’s tennis team is ranked 19th in the latest ITA West Region team rankings. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps is ranked #1 in the West Region and the Cru is joined in the West Region rankings by fellow American Southwest Conference programs U.T.-Tyler (11th), and U.T.-Dallas (15th) this week.
The Cru women are currently 1-1 in dual match action this spring. UMHB will return to action with a home non-conference match against St. Catherine University next Tuesday, March 26th. St. Catherine is ranked 6th in the Central Region in the latest ITA rankings. The Cru will then travel to Southwestern University for a non-conference dual match on Friday. The Pirates are tied for 20th in the West Region in the ITA Regional rankings.
