WVU Fans Asked To Wear Blue, Gold For Big 12 Opener vs. Baylor

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (July 13, 2012) -- West Virginia is encouraging its football fans to coordinate their school colors for the Mountaineers' Big 12 opener Sept. 29 in Morgantown.

WVU says it's asking fans sitting in the student sections, the Touchdown Terrace and even-numbered sections of Milan Puskar Stadium to wear gold to the game against Baylor, while fans sitting in odd-numbered sections and in the low-level student sections are encouraged to wear blue.

In addition, all WVU fans attending the Mountaineers' home game with Oklahoma on Nov. 17 are being asked to wear gold.

West Virginia opens the season Sept. 1 at home against Marshall.
