WACO (April 27, 2013) -- A couple of former Waco standouts have signed free agent deals with NFL teams.
Former La Vega star Dax Swanson and Reicher standout Ross Rasner went undrafted in this year's NFL Draft, but were picked up following Saturday's final round.
Swanson signed a free agent deal with the Indianapolis Colts. In his final year at Sam Houston State, Swanson led the Bearkats with four interceptions and also finished with 46 tackles.
Rasner was picked up by the Denver Broncos. He led Arkansas in total tackles with 92 during his senior season. He also recorded 2.5 sacks and three interceptions.
