(February 26, 2013) -- Rusty Walker resigned as boys head basketball coach at Midway after serving in the role for seven seasons.
Midway ISD athletic director Randy Weisinger confirmed the resignation to 254Sports on Tuesday afternoon. Weisinger said they are currently taking applications for the position and there is no timetable to when the vacancy will be filled.
Walker led the Panthers to a 14-18 finish this season. Midway was playing its first season as a 5A program.
