The Duncanville, Texas, native became the fifth first-round NBA draft pick in program history and first since Ekpe Udoh went No. 6 overall in 2010 to Golden State.

Acy and Miller were later drafted with back-to-back picks; Acy went No. 37 overall to Toronto, while Miller went to Denver at No. 38 overall.

Jones III averaged 13.5 points and 7.6 rebounds in 33 games and helped lead Baylor to the Elite Eight for the second time in three seasons. The Mesquite, Texas, native finished with 1,360 career points and 828 career rebounds.

Miller became the first Baylor player to earn conference freshman of the year honors since 1995, Brian Skinner was the Southwest Conference Freshman of the Year. In addition to Big 12 Co-Freshman of the Year honors from the league coaches, Miller was named Big 12 Freshman of the Year by Sporting News.
