WIMBLEDON, England (July 4, 2012)—Roger Federer chalked up a record win Wednesday at Wimbledon as he made it into the semifinals in a Grand Slam event for the 32nd time by beating Mikhail Youzhny 6-1, 6-2, 6-2.

Federer is moving closer to a seventh Wimbledon title, which would tie a record.

Defending champion Novak Djokovic reached his ninth straight Grand Slam semifinal by beating Florian Mayer of Germany.
