WACO (October 13, 2013) -- No. 23 Baylor played No. 15 Texas Tech to a scoreless draw on Sunday afternoon at Betty Lou Mays Field. The result for the Bears (8-3-3, 1-2-1) ended a three-game losing streak.
Texas Tech (13-1-2, 3-0-2) led 4-3 in shots and 2-0 in shots on goal in the first half. Michelle Kloss made saves in the 21st and 44th minutes to keep TTU scoreless. In the second half, Baylor just missed on shots by Karlee Summey in the 49th minute and Bri Campos in the 90th minute on a header.
In the first overtime, Kloss made a clutch save in the 99th minute on the only shot either team had in the period. In the second overtime, Baylor had two shots and did not allow a shot by Texas Tech. Kat Ludlow was denied on a shot in the 101st minute and Lindsay Burns missed high on a shot in the 108th minute.
