ASHBURN, Va. (August 13, 2012) -- Washington Redskins tight end Chris Cooley has seen rookies come and go in his nine NFL seasons. He's noticed something unique about Robert Griffin III.
Cooley says he's "never seen doubt in that kid's mind" - a remarkable assessment about a rookie just wrapping up a first NFL training camp.
Cooley says the only other rookie he's seen who showed up not acting like a wide-eyed newbie was Sean Taylor, the talented Redskins safety who died in 2007.
Griffin says his performance in his first preseason game reassured himself and "reassured everybody else" why the Redskins drafted him at No. 2 overall.
