IRVING (December 15, 2011) -- Rob Ryan is taking the blame for the Dallas Cowboys' defensive meltdowns at the end of the last two games.
He's also vowing to fix it.
The defensive coordinator says communication breakdowns have
been partly to blame, so he's working on a new system using signals
from the sideline. He's also having the defense go over video
together instead of breaking into smaller groups.
He adds that he's going to scale back some of the game plan
because he may be overloading players with information.
Ryan remains as supportive of his guys as he was the day he took
over, saying: "I've got better players than everybody else and
that's just a fact."
The Cowboys (7-6) play at Tampa Bay on Saturday night.
