Young's 5 RBI Lead Rangers Past Blue Jays

TORONTO (August 19, 2012) -- Michael Young hit a three-run homer and a two-run double to help the Texas Rangers beat the slumping Toronto Blue Jays 11-2 on Sunday.

David Murphy also connected and doubled twice and Geovany Soto had three hits as baseball's highest scoring offense passed 600 runs for the season. The AL West leaders top the majors with 606 runs scored.

Held to four runs while splitting the first two games of the series, Texas pounded out 19 hits in the finale.
