(March 7, 2012) -- The McLennan Highlassies dropped both games of today's softball doubleheader with the Ranger Lady Rangers in Ranger.

Taylor Kelm took the 15-2 loss in the first game. Victoria Alcozer led MCC at the plate, going 1-3 with a triple. Veronica Garcia and Abigail Kester both went 2-3. Jessica Smith went 2-2.

Kelly Smith picked up the 5-3 loss in the nightcap. Alcozer was 2-4 with a double. Jessica Smith recorded a double and Kester hit a home run.

MCC returns to action on Saturday, traveling to Hill for a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
