I don't know about you, but the news of a shooting in the Central Texas Marketplace really left me disturbed. Since the center opened, I've been a big fan of the outdoor shopping facility. I love bargain shopping at places like Marshalls. Malls are great, but I personally like being able to park and run into any store in just a few seconds. That being said, I've been in the same parking lot by Kohl's a million times. In fact, my husband wanted to go there the night that shooting happened. Looking back, I'm obviously glad we decided to stay in. Still, It upsets me there are so many people out there taking security away from people in places they should feel safe...their homes, the workplace...our favorite shops.  All I know to do..is keep on shopping and not let those kinds of people get the best of us..Hats off to area police, as arrests were swiftly made.
