Days until my wedding: 120
I'm now about a week into my training, and things are good so far. I've been to the gym all but one day and my diet no longer consists of pizza and hamburgers. My trainer at WRS Athletic Club, Gretchen Chiles, has me working out in a much different way than I am used to. The last time I worked out I was real concerned about getting "buff", so I spent a lot of time lifting as much weight as I possibly could.
Her approach is quite a bit different. She has me using things like medicine balls and punching bags. Gretchen tells me that she wants me doing things that will keep my heart rate up while I'm working out. So far it's working!!
At the bottom of the blog I've included some pictures of me working out with Gretchen this week. Hopefully in a few months I'll look a lot better in some new photos at the gym.
